The Lumberjack Women's Basketball team fell to North Dakota State College of Science 84-42 Wednesday night.
A slow start offensively hurt the Jacks as they shot just 3-15 in the first 10 minutes and found themselves down 25-7. The second quarter was competitive as on the defensive end of the floor the Jacks held the Wildcats to just 33% shooting from the floor. At the half the Jacks trailed 40-17. NDSCS used a big third quarter to increase their lead and put the game out of reach for the Jacks. The Jacks played another competitive quarter to close the game but ended up dropping the game by a final score of 84-42.
In her final game inside "The Woodshed" Serinity Soland led the Lumberjacks with 11 points. Jersey Vogel also finished in double figures with 10 points. Lolo Carlow led the Wildcats and all scorers with 17 points.
The Jacks fall to 3-24 overall and 0-11 inside the Mon-Dak. DCB wraps up their regular season Sunday at Dawson, tip-off is scheduled for 3:00p.m. (CST).
