Tough Third Quarter Costs Jacks

The Lumberjack Women's Basketball team dropped a Mon-Dak Conference game to United Tribes Technical College 84-52.

The Jacks hopped out to a quick 4-0 lead. The Thunderbirds responded with an 11-0 run. DCB would get the deficit back down to two at 11-9. Back-to-back UTTC 3 pointers would give them a 17-9 lead. UTTC would maintain anywhere from a 7–15-point lead throughout the remainder of the first half. As the teams entered the locker room UTTC led by a score of 43-29.

Coming out of the locker room the Jacks had a tough time getting their offense going. DCB was held to just 8 points in the third quarter. The fourth quarter was a back-and-forth affair but, in the end, UTTC took the game 84-52.
