The Lumberjack Women's Basketball team opened their season this past weekend dropping all three games.

Jersey Vogel led the team in scoring averaging 18 points on the weekend with a weekend high of 21 against Miles Community College on Saturday Vogel also dished out 6 assists in the contest. In the same game Brooke Anderson came off the bench and scored 19 points. Josie Wintermute led the Jacks in rebounding on the weekend averaging 7.7 on the weekend. However, Talia Vargas had a team high on the weekend with 9 which led both teams against MCC.

The Jacks record sits at 0-3 as they prepare to hit the road for a classic at Northland Community and Technical College Friday and Saturday. Friday DCB takes on the host NCTC with tip-off scheduled for 5:30p.m. Saturday the Jacks turn around and play Minnesota North College-Itasca with tip-off scheduled for noon The men's team will follow both days.
