The Ladyjack's have been on another miracle run late in the season, which has allowed them to compete in the NJCAA national tournament.  The women were struggling late in the year in conference play, but key wins in the Region XIII playoffs and in the District Championship was just what the Ladyjacks had planned for all season.

Their last loss of the year came from the hands of Parkland College.  The Jacks loss to the number one team in the nation, Kirkwood CC, was what landed them to play against the Cobras.  From tip-off the Ladyjacks wanted to show that they were meant to be in the tournament and that they were a team to be reckoned with. 

The first quarter, the Jacks came out and shot well to lead 15-12.  Erickson was being the most dominate for the Jacks with Obergfell and Deibert adding a few as well.  In the second quarter, the Cobras were able to outscore the Jacks 13-6, which was a hole that they Jacks were not ready to try and dig themselves out of.  At half, the girls were refreshed and ready to make a run at them again.  Darby Deckert had two early three pointers that gave the Jacks a spark to keep the baskets coming.  But in the fourth, the Jacks ran out of steam and allowed the Cobras to outscore them 16-7, which would give the Jacks the loss 52-41.

The Jacks conclude their season with a .500 record at 16-16.  Congratulations Ladyjacks on another outstanding season.
