Jacks Drop Two to Tommies

 The Lumberjacks Women's Hockey team dropped a pair of games this past weekend 8-2 and 6-2 to St Thomas.

8-3 loss

After trailing 6-0 late in the second period Danee Crepeele put the Jacks on the board, Stephanie Hogan and Cydny Price were credited with the assists. Crepeele would score a second time in the third period off a Hope Zirk assist. The Jacks fell by a final score of 8-3.

 6-2 loss

The Tommies got on the board first in game two. Calleja Misson scored to tie the game for the Jacks, Jordyn Johnson had the assist. St Thomas would regain the lead just past the halfway point of the first period. UST pushed the lead to 3-1 early in the second period. The Jacks answered back with a Hogan goal just past the halfway point. A big third period for from St Thomas would give them the 6-2 victory.

The Jacks record moves to 8-8-1-0. DCB is off until February 21st at home against the University of Jamestown with a 1:00p.m. start time.
