The Lumberjack Hockey team earned a split with Augustana University this past weekend winning 7-3 on Saturday and falling 6-3 on Sunday.
7-3 Win
In Saturday's victory Calleja Misson netted 4 goals and tacked on an assist. Mission leads the team in scoring with 13 goals and 3 assists. Cydny Price finished the game with two goals and an assist to add to her season total. Danee Crepeele found the back of the net once and assisted on a goal. Newcomer Jordyn Johnson dished two assists, and Randell Banga and Macy Wither each had an assist. Riley Richardson picked up the win in net.
6-3 Loss
In game two Misson, Maya Mortensen, and Carli Durston each scored once. While Hope Zirk, Johnson, and Crepeele each had an assist.
With the split the Jacks, who were ranked 5th in the West Region in the rankings that came out before the holiday record move to 6-3-1-0 overall. Next up for DCB, a home and home series, with Assiniboine College, who was ranked 1st in the same West Region rankings. Saturday's game in Brandon is scheduled for 7:00p.m., with Sunday's game in Bottineau set for 2:00p.m.
