Coming off a season where they were one win away from a National Championship the Ladyjacks Hockey Team is hungry and eager to get back to that same spot and win one more game.

Coach Reed Loucks highlighted four key stat returners from last season. Trinity Tanner had 8 points in 12 regular season games last season and 5 points in 5 games at the National Tournament. Karyssa Watson also had 8 points in 12 regular season games last season, she added an assist at the National Tournament. Michelle Landsverk and Zoe Cupples both had 4 points in 12 games last season.

Here is what Coach Loucks had to say about the upcoming season. "Coming off a National Championship loss, our team is hungry and eager to be in the same situation but with a different outcome. It starts in the weight room, cardio room, and classroom which we have done. Now we take care of business on the ice. Shift by shift, period by period, game by game."

DCB opens their season this weekend with a pair of games Saturday and Sunday on the road against NDSU.
