Lumberjacks Win in Rugby, ND

The Lumberjacks took to the road Monday night as they faced Williston State College in Rugby, ND.  The Jacks exploded for 10 goals on the evening in a 10-4 win over the Tetons.  Jordan Berschiminsky made 38 saves and got the win.  Chase Haberman got the scoring started at 14:05 of the first period. Ian Amsbaugh and Ryan Patterson scored back to back goals 29 seconds apart to open the lead to 3-0 after the first period. In the second it was very offensive as the teams combined for 8 goals with 6 of those to the Lumberjacks. Patterson got his second of the game less than a minute in, 37 seconds later it was Haberman again to make it 5-0.  Seth Davis then scored 2 in a row to make it 5-2.  DCB then took over scoring 4 more goals to round out the period.  Phil Parisien, Leighton Holstein, JJ Adams, and Holstein again resonded for Bottineau. In the third Zane MacDonald added one for the Jacks to make it 10 for DCB. The Lumberjacks would like to thanks Rugby Ice Hawks youth hockey for making it a great night of hockey as a large crowd was on hand.  The Lumberjacks are off now until November 27 where they will play another nuetral site game against University of Mary in Dickinson, ND.  A quick turnaround will have the Jacks at home against Mary on Sunday November 28.
