Bottineau, ND - The Dakota College at Bottineau women's volleyball program hosted Williston State College on Wednesday, October 4th. Williston State beat the Ladyjacks in 3-sets (25-13, 25-16, and 25-23). DCB has fallen two the Lady Tetons twice this season and have fallen to 2-6 in the Mon-Dak Conference.
In the first set, WSC jumped on DCB leading 8-2. The Ladyjacks went on a 3-0 run to counter and then eventually Williston would close them out on 14-7 run. In the second set, Williston led the entire way and the closest DCB would get was 13-10. In the third and final set, DCB got hot and led most of the contest. At one point, the Ladyjacks were leading 17-11. Williston State reclaimed the lead late at 23-22 and then ended the match 25-23.
The Ladyjacks are in action over the weekend. They will travel to Brandon, MB to take on Assiniboine Community College Friday and Saturday. The game on Friday is at 6:00 PM and the game time set for Saturday is at 11:00 AM.
