DCB Head Men's Basketball Coach Brock Lemon has announced another four signees for the 2017-18 season.  Joining the Lumberjacks are Antonio Singleton, Tyree Johnson, Jibirl Wyckoff, and Carl Armstrong.

Antonio Singleton comes to the Jacks after attending Butler Community College in Kansas last season.  In addition, his high school teammate Tyrie Johnson from North Central High School in Indianapolis, IN has signed with DCB as well.  On signing these two players, Coach Lemon states, "they come from winning programs and understand the process of being champions. Antonio is someone we believe has the chance to do great things athletically and academically and hee couldn't be happier that he decided to come with us. He is someone that you will definitely want to come out and watch in person.  Tyrie is a really good 2 way guard, able to play at a high level both offensively and defensively. He is a hard nosed and gritty player that will bring a toughness to our team next year."

Jibril Wyckoff is from Stone Mountain, GA. He signed his 2017-18 national letter of intent with the Lumberjacks in April.  Coach Lemon on Jibril "He is a 6'3 wiry guard that shoots well from the outside, attacks the basket strong and with an attitude where he won't be stopped. Jibril has a strong support system back home, so I know he will come up here ready to work on the court and in the classroom.  We are excited about this addition to the program."

Carl Armstrong is another new member of our Jacks Family that we are very pleased to have with us. He hails from Lake Worth, Flordia. He signed his letter of intent for 2017-18 year in early May. Coach Lemon comments that, "Carl is a quick and strong point guard with a high basketball IQ. He is a guy that puts his all into everything and doesn't know a speed below 100MPH. His court vision, and his ability to exploit defenses will be a tremendous addition to us. Do not let his height fool you, kid has a ton of heart. I really believe Carl is going to be a very good player for us and we are excited that he has decided to join our program."

With the returning stars and the new signees, including this quality group, DCB basketball should have another exciting season at the Woodshed.
