2017 All MCAC and All Region Offensive Lineman Deing Kug has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his career at North Carolina Central University. Kug was an integral part of the DCB Offensive Line this past year that led the MCAC in rushing offense (averaging over 100 yards more per game rushing than any other team in the league). The Jacks had their best season in history in 2017, finishing 8-2 and winning the MCAC West Division Championship.
North Carolina Central, located in Durham, NC, is a tradition rich program that has compiled a 32-15 record over the last 4 years, including a 7-4 record last season. In 2016, the Eagles won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship and represented the league in the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
